They're not hurting and either ones can make a CD that sounds good OR bad and it will sell. Bands and artists like Metallica and Madonna should get a grip. And If (God willing) I have you ever gotten to the point where I get signed to a major label, I KNOW more of my Cd's will be sold than downloaded. I figure the harder people that hear my stuff, the higher. As a struggling artist in the constant quest for getting heard and achieving my stuff "out there", I wholeheartedly support music downloading. I try to think about it through the artist's standpoint. I was paying $20 US dollars to get a new release VHS video cassette (that eventually wore out). However, I don't possess the $599.00 US dollars to fund a program like Adobe Photoshop or $60 US dollars to shell out on the new Roxio Easy CD creator and I'd like to begin to see the hot new movie releases inside the comfort of my own home and not have to shell out about $30 US dollars for my lady and I to venture to the local cinema. I'm and a computer geek that likes to play on-line games, and get acquainted with the most up-to-date computer software. I'm quite a movie buff and luxuriate in sitting down to your good movie.
